Abstract

The small-scale enterprises are facing a stiff competition from the changing global environment. The obstacles for productivity in an enterprise are from both internal and external in nature. Internal obstacles are manageable by the in-house effort from SSE but external obstacles are influenced by various outreach parameters. The present paper tried to focus on effect of external obstacles on productivity through a case-study analysis and a methodology for productivity for its improvement. This paper emphasized to address the most significant external obstacles for productivity improvement under the changing global environment.
