Abstract

The present review encompasses the multifaceted role of Pheromones (=odour hormones) among the wild animals. Various aspects of Aggressive behaviour, Territory marking, Alarm and Fear responses, as-well-as, Courtship and Mating behaviour in different vertebrates are discussed here in details.
