Abstract

People used to say Sir Asutosh Mookerjee was a renowned Vice Chancellor of Calcutta University, Chief justice and the Tiger of Bengal, but very few know him as a Mathematician. Here attempt has been taken to highlight his contribution in the field of mathematics and his endeavor to create wide ranging temperament for the development of mathematics, education and culture in India.
