Electro-Chemical Technique for Base Metals Exploration

Abstract

In the search for base-metals, a very innovative technique used to be followed by the then USSR around 1980. The author had an opportunity to study this technique during his visit to USSR with a scientific delegation in 1980. The technique is basically a large-scale electrolysis method using the ground soil. The system is known a “CHIM 10†in the USSR.
