Abstract

Proper functioning of the brain is essentially required to lead a physically and mentally healthy life, and accordingly it is essential that we have a healthy and active brain functioning properly. Different areas of the brain require different types of nutrients and in order to optimize proper functioning, a well balanced diet is essentially required. The kind of food we eat determines a lot about how we feel and how much energy we have. Specific food targeted to specific areas of the brain can modify our personality and in fact define who we are. Our emotions, behavior and overall health are all guided by the brain and the brain seeks healthy and appropriate food. Our food and the kind of food we eat can make or break our lives. If we do not pay enough attention, then the food we consume can be destructive to our daily life or it can be our best friend if chosen wisely.
