Abstract

Cognitive Psychology is a second and a worthy attempt by the British Medical Bulletin to link psychological researches to the field of medicine. This number on 'Cognitive Psychology' begins with a crisp introduction by D. E. Broadbent, who himself drawing inspiration from his Master Prof. F. C. Barlett, has set a pattern of study of cognition in Britain. There are 15 articles ranging from general topics like psycholinguistics, cognitive development and problem solving, to specific topics like acquisition of skill, neurological basis of complex learning and the like, contributed by many internationally well known British specialists.
