Abstract

The author in this book focuses his attention on the aspects such as assessing the impact of malnutrition upon the developing brain and behaviour, particularly in the social context of human communities. He deals in six chapters-malnutrition, growth and development, nature of brain, electrical activity and methods of analysis, experimental and clinical aspects of brain function and development, effects of early trauma on brain function and behaviour and sensory motor integration processes.
