Abstract

In sampling, it is assumed that the characteristic observed on any unit of the population, takes a unique value whenever the unit is included in the sample, irrespective of the way the information is obtained. In the course of the survey practice, it has, however, become obvious that this assumption is not true. One way of getting satisfactory data in surveys is the use of objective methods for collecting data.
