Abstract

The study of blood composition has received great significance from the stand point of nutrition, because level of various blood components often serves as a valuable guideline in evaluating the nutritional adequacy of the diet and the nutritonal status of the animal. Now it has been realised that plane of nutrition also influences the blood picture to a great extent. For examble, Sharma has reported changes in some of the important blood constituents of Tharparkar calves on feeding two levels of protein.
