Abstract

One of the major problems that the world faces today is the nutrition of children. A healthy child today, means a stronger and prosperous India, tomorrow. At present, millions of people in the developing countries suffer from endemic undernutrition and associated diseases. In tropical regions like ours, where milk is expensive, low cost infant foods can be made from mixtures of cereals or root crops with beans or pulses.
