Abstract

As a mammal, the human baby is expected to thrive on mother's milk which is species-specific product of evolution designed specially for the nutrition of infant. Women have the right to breastfeed and children have the right to be breastfed. Breastfeeding is a part of fundamental human right, the right to food, healthcare and development.
