Abstract

Children in the age group of 5-14 years are often considered as school age and constitute a significant proportion of the total population in India. Under-nutrition is a major health problem among the children and in India, two-third of children do not take adequate quantity of food and are malnourished. During the critical period of growth, it can lead to stunting of physical growth.
