Abstract

Nutrition is one of the indispensable factors that are closely associated with the physical and mental development of young children. That is why nutrition plays a vital role in the development of the quality that helps achieving a high level of public health through a balanced and nutritious diet. Adequate food is the most important requisite for growth. While it is important through out childhood, it is more crucial during the first five years of life when rapid growth is occuring.
