Abstract

Adolescence is a crucial phase of growth since it offers the second and last chance for the catch up growth in the life cycle of girls. On the basis of available data on the growth of adolescent girls, it is crystal clear that a remarkable per cent of adolescent is found to have low body weight and less height as compared to the standard values.
