Abstract

Plasma triglycerides and cholesterol are risk factors for coronary heart disease independent of each other, and a combined elevation of these two plasma lipids carries the highest risk. The relationship between the hyperlipidaemia and coronary arter/diseases has been extensively studied, but the relationship between hyperlipidaemia and testicular function has remained relatively unexplored. Thus present study deals with the correlation between hyperlipidaemia and suppression of fertility in male rats.
