Technologies of Future: Carbon Nanotubes
Jump To References Section
Abstract
Carbon Nanotubes should deliver in future the basis for ultra stable materials. But the allied research should prevent the health hazardous development. Their diameter is 50000 times smaller than human hair. Moreover they exhibit properties which inspire material scientists. Chemically it is nothing more than a matter, called graphite. The special properties of the nanotubes are the outcome of their structure. Individual molecule positions of graphites are rolled up to single or manifold capillary tubes.
