National Seminar on “150 Years of The Origin of Species-Looking Back and Aheadâ€

Abstract

The national seminar was organized on the occasion of the 200th birth anniversary of Charles Darwin and 150 years of his great paper “the Origin of Species†on the 26^th March 2010 at BITM Auditorium, Kolkata 700 019. The seminar was organized by the ISEC in close collaboration with Birla Industrial and Technological Museum and Science for Society (India). The seminar consisted of inaugural session, interactive session with participants mainly with student's folk and technical sessions with lively discussion.
