Mercury-Free Incandescent Lamp

Abstract

Energy-saving lamps are really not as environment-friendly as expected because they contain poisonous mercury. A mercury-free alternative with special manufacturing technique has been developed bv researchers of Carlruhe and Aachen jointly. A prototype of this new generation of energy-saving and antidazzle glow lams were exhibited in the Hanover fair in early 2013.
