Abstract

Pea (Pisum sativum L.) seeds were pretreated with aqueous solutions of Na-DK and Chlorocholine chloride (100 μg ml-1 each) for 4 hours before accelerated ageing treatment (100% RH and 32±2°C) for different durations (0 and 30 days). Potted plants raised from the pretreated seeds showed better performance, measured in terms of some vital physiological and biochemical parameters. The promising effects of the experimental chemicals on enhancement of plant potential are apparent in this investigation.
