Abstract

Stainless steels play a key role as materials for construction for the chemical, petro-chemical, fertiliser, nuclear and food processing industries. Their ability to handle a wide range of corrosive media, excellent mechanical properties and good form ability and weld ability have led to their ready acceptance and use in all the process industries.
