Abstract

The species Spalangia impunctata Howard is reported for the first time from India and Spalangia simplex Perkins reported for the first time from Kerala. Both the species are reared from the pupae of Drosophila sp. on putrefied tender Jack fruit, which form the first host records for the species. A checklist of the Indian species of Spalangia with host data is also provided.
