The present study attempts to identify some of the operational aspects of e-commerce in the manufacturing sector of India. A pre-structured questionnaire has been used to collect information from 90 large manufacturing firms in India. It has been observed that almost all firms use computer networks for various activities. Most of them utilize these networks for B2B and B2C transactions. There are certain issues such as cost, speed, connectivity, security and investment that need to be addressed to exploit the full potential of e-commerce in India.}, journal={Journal of Business Thought}, author={Sharma, Lata and Porwal, Ranjan}, year={2018}, month={May}, pages={50–67} }
