Abstract
Aquatic insects play an important role as indicator of changes in the quality of water due to pollution. The present report is prepared from Panditpukur pond (10 bigha) of Paschimpara mouza, Goghat Block II, Hugli district, West Bengal, based on data collected from Paschinpara village during 2007-2008 towards Peoples Biodiversity Register of Biodivercity Management Committee, West Bengal Biodiversity Board, Kolkata. These aquatic insects comprise of 24 species belonging to 4 orders.Downloads
