Multiplication of Boehmians

Abstract

We introduce a multiplication o f any two Boehmians and prove that this multiplication is consistent with the multiplication o f distribution and smooth function. We verify some classical properties o f multiplication in this context. We also compare this multiplication with the available multiplication of a funcltion and a Boehmian and give an example o f a pair o f Boehmians, one representing a singular distribution and another not representing any distribution, which can be multiplied with each other.
