Two biocontrol agents viz., Trichoderma viride Pseudomonas fluorescens Migula were evaluated against foliar diseases of groundnut and sunflower. Their efficacy was compared with that of commonly used fungicides. The results revealed that T. viride was equally effective as that of fungicides in controlling early and late leafspots and rust in groundnut, and Alternaria blight in sunflower in both the crops. Pseudomonas fluorescens was ineffective.Downloads
