Asansol subdivision in West Bengal, India lies on exposed Gondowana rocks and consists mostly of undulating soil. Though it is an industrial area, still 5 species of anuran amphibians are available, viz, Hoplobatrachus crassus, H. tigerinus, Fejervarya limnocharis, Euphlyctis cyanophlyctis and Polypedates maculates. Some nematodes were recovered from the dead frogs, namely, Aplectana sp, Neyraplectana sp and Neoxysomatoides sp.Downloads
