Aims & Scope

Journal of Medicine and Medical Reports is an Open Access journal dedicated to publishing articles in the field of medicine and medical procedures involving disease, treatment, recovery and wellness related to both individual and public health. The journal will accept submissions from across the full range of preventive and therapeutic medicine and medical practice. The major focus will remain on the new medicines and emerging medical practices. The journal encompasses a world 360 degree view of disease and health encouraging submissions that look at priority health problems and those that take a global, national, or regional focus on health problems, quality of life, and disease prevention or treatment. Articles from authors from all countries exploring the issues of diseases are welcome. The journal welcomes the following major categories of articles including original research papers, reviews, brief research reports, clinical case reports, commentaries, inventions, innovations, drug discovery, patents, testing and system adoption. It also focuses on the latest methods in health information systems and informatics techniques.

A major forum for those wishing to deal directly with: personal service ethics, emphasis on diagnosis and treatment, medical paradigm, lines of specialization organized, for example, by organ system (cardiology, neurology); patient group (obstetrics, pediatrics); etiology and pathophysiology (infectious diseases, oncology); technical skill (radiology, surgery); biologic sciences central, stimulated by needs of patients; move between laboratory and bedside; numeric and social science; engineering and physical sciences relevant, especially materials science, electronics, imaging, and information technology; public and private sector issues and challenges of delivery of services.

We aim to publish robust scientific work; so methods should be carefully described and referred data properly cited. Literature reviews are accepted as long as they provide novelty, meaningful insights, originality and a clear contribution to the discourse. Case studies are also accepted as long as they contribute to the uses and improvements of the stakeholders and comprehension of issues of broader significance. All the submissions will be peer-reviewed.

Discussion and debate-focused short feature articles citing fresh new insights to the developments are also accepted; they would be either invited or could be considered upon discretion of the Editor(s).
