Urea as a Protein Supplement
Jump To References Section
Abstract
The use of urea in any country is determined by economic conditions, the existence of local chemical industry, the extent to which carbohydrate feeding stuffs are produced and the opportunities for the production or import of high protein feed. The challenge is to develop an efficient absolutely safe, high-level urea supplement at reasonable cost to supplement the principal deficiency of poor quality roughages for survival, maintenance and production feeding of ruminants.Downloads
