Kitchen Garden as a Source of Vitamin a Status in Children

Abstract

Vitamin A deficiency (VAD) has been recognized as a major controllable nutritional problem in developing countries. It was reported that 25 per cent of the world's blind live in India and of these about a fifth are due to VAD.
