Abstract

Many investigators have demonstrated a co-relation between serum lipid levels and incidence of coronary heart diseases (CHD). Atherosclerosis studies carried out in the past few decades have shown that the PUFA have hypo-cholesterolemic effect, thereby preventing atherosclerosis and CHD.
