Abstract

The nine sections of this book comprise of reports on work in progress on endemic goiter and cretinism in Latin America, with relevant studies from the Congo and New Guinea. No less than 75 authors have contributed to the 34 chapters of this comprehensive book, which contains many illustrative tables, figures and photographs.
