Primary Work Cards

Abstract

This pack, Set C, a make believe world designed to provide school children aged 8 to 12 years with integrated craft, creative and discovery work, comprises 12 four-page cards. The book is adorned with very attractive photographic illustrations. Each set of these cards has its starting point a craft activity which involves making cottages, soft toys, models from clay, plasticine, wood, card-board, shells, paper machine or junk, and experimenting with paint. The follow up activity involves creative writing which inturn leads on to discovery work where the children are encouraged to find out facts for themselves and to write their discoveries.
