Abstract

Physiological or psychological morbidity and mortality is common in women. Repeated occurrences of physiological and psychological stress in women's life play a decisive role for their health status. Many physiological conditions such as menstruation, pregnancy, lactation, weight control and advancing age not only affect the health related quality of life but also burden them psychologically.
