Abstract
Protein-Energy Malnutrition (PEM) is an important public health problem among the pre-school children in our country- While poor dietary intake caused by poverty and/or lack of knowledge about proper feeding, is the main causative factor, recurrent infection, particularly of the gastrointestinal tract is a major contributory factor.Downloads
