Abstract

Studies on quantification of variations in dietary pattern and adequacies are very few particularly in developing countries like India. Since, diet varies from country to country, state to state, region to region, community to community, individual to individual and also varies by social, economic, demographic status and seasons, diet has a far-reaching influence on health and nutritional status.
