Abstract
This publication deals with the world food situation and the production of synthetic carbohydrate by new agricultural methods on a large scale. The methods described are: (I) The hydrolysis of cellulose wastes to glucose followed by polymerisation to starch (2) the conversion of fossil fuels to starch and (3) a reconstruction of photosynthetic process using isolated enzyme systems.Downloads
