Intra Family Food Intake of Selected Rural Households and Food Consumption Patterns of Pregmant Women
AbstractFood habits of people depend on availability of foods. Food availability is influenced by the climatic, socio-economic and cultural environment. Religious injunctions, superstition and ignorance affect the food habits significantly. Survey data in India indicate glaring deficits in the dietaries of vulnerable groups, food available to a household is dependent on the purchasing power and food available in the region.
