Abstract
In recent years, Applied Nutrition programmes (ANP) have been initiated in different states of India for improving the nutrition and health of the people.' Asa part of this programme, steps have been taken to introduce kitchen gardens in villages for the cultivation of leafy and non-leafy vegetables and fruits for distribution to the vulnerable sections of the population.Downloads
