Abstract
The book has two sections. In the first section Hermann Schlenk deals with the odd numbered polyunsatured fatty acids. In the second section Ralph T. Holman discusses the biological activities of and requirements for polyunsaturated acids. Both the authors present a wealth of up-to-date information on the topics discussed.
