Abstract

Diet is Known to affect vast majority of modifiable risk factors especially for cardiovascular disease, thereby introduces large variability in occurrence of tine first acute myocardial infarction. Population statistics indicates that communities that consumed diets high in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and unsaturated fatty acids had lower morbidity and mortality due to CVD.
