Abstract

The diets consumed by a great majority of the human population in the developing countries are deficient in proteins and protein malnutrition is widely prevalent among weaned infants and young children. The problem of providing adequate quantities of protein for the rapidly increasing population has been engaging the attention of research workers and international agencies.
